Dana Silver, RPA-C

Dana Silver received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Studies with honors from the University of Maryland in 2008. After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended New York Institute of Technology where she received a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Dana has also done volunteer work in the Children's Developmental Clinic for Children with Special Needs at the University of Maryland. Additionally, she has completed research in the Effects of Exercise on Pre-Diabetic Overweight Minority Adolescents at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Dana assists Dr. Stein with evaluating and creating treatment plans for patients. Her passion for orthopedic related injuries stems from her own athleticism. On her free time, Dana is an avid runner and has participated in several half marathons. Because fitness, and running in particular, is a passion of hers she considers her work in Sports Medicine especially rewarding and truly enjoys aiding fellow athletes back to recovery.
